Meek and mild mannered sister of Edward Ray. Her friends were Cecily, Sara and Felicity.

Edward Ray

Brother of Clemmie Ray. Edward was often cruel toward his sister and the King hired hand, Peter Craig. When Felicity claimed that Peter tried to kiss her during a game, Edward got Peter into trouble by untying the King farm horse, Blackie.

Edward became sick soon afterward, but was healed when Peter delivered medicine from Peg Bowen. When Peter became ill, Edward apologized for his cruel treatment (1.7: Conversions). Later that year, Edward pursued Felicity at the 1903 harvest ball (1.10: Felicity's Challenge).

Ray family

In the early episodes, the Ray family lived in the house located in the town, across from the Potts house. The house was later purchased by the Pettibone family.

Theodore Ray

According to Mrs. Ray, Theodore died from eating poison berries. The credibility of the source is highly questionable.

Antonio Rizelli was a scientist who visited Avonlea in 1911 to view the eclipse. The professor asked Selena Dale to be his assistant.

Allowed the King family watering privileges on Rushdon property in 1837.

Rusty (Last name unknown)

White Sands Hotel worker who fought with Felix.

Robert Rutherford

First appearance: 3.7: a Dark and Stormy Night
Jewel thief, relentless pursuer, and occasional accomplice of Amanda Stone. Rutherford harassed Gus Pike in order to acquire the Van Douzen jewels.
