Hi everyone! I have a question about the episode "King of the Great White Way". I have always thought that the Avonlea series has always done very well at being historically accurate, but in this episode, Jasper's voice replicator seems to be incredibly similar to Edison's Mechanical Phonograph Cylinder Recorder which was patented in 1878, and commercially available by the 1880's, years before this episode was supposed to have happened. Does anyone else think this was a bit odd, or am I missing some information?
By the way, I found the rest of the episode pretty entertaining.

Thanks!
