The Red Road: A Journey Back to Avonlea

Post by Timothy » Wed Aug 03, 2005 3:22 pm

The Red Road: A Journey Back to Avonlea, by our own Annie, has a very appealing design. The music section is great with composer biographies and sheet music for songs from the series, including the waltz from 'How Kissing Was Discovered'! Very nice. Be sure to check out the literature section for Fan Fiction!

I simply love this site! Annie, any chance you'll be adding new sheet music?

Thanks guys! :)
Yes, I have sooo many ideas for sheet music - they're all hand written on bits of manuscript amidst the rest of my mess by the piano . . . But right now, all I have is a very outdated version of Encore (music notation software), and since Dad got rid of the older computer without telling me, I can't operate the program since its too old for newer systems. It's quite sad. But, I'm hoping to purchase a fancier program soon!
Here's what I'm planning to add at some point:
-Theme from "Home Movie"
-Felix King's Theme ("Felix and Blackie" closing credits)
-Peg Bowen's Theme ("Conversions" closing credits)
-Opening/Closing Theme from "The Ties that Bind"
-Closing Theme from "Old Quarrels, Old Love"
-Jasper's Theme ("May the Best Man Win" closing credits)

I'll also be revising the sheet music currently available once I get the new software - I'd like to make them easier to read and print out. If you're looking for a way to suck ink out of your printer, this is the way to do it!

I only had time to look around briefly, but the site looks good! I enjoy reading fanfiction, and I haven't read much RtA fanfic, so I will definitely read the couple of stories available when I have time, hopefully in the near future! :D

Kylie's Gus and Felicity Website

This site, dedicated to Gus and Felicity, is updated regularly, and has beautiful wallpaper and memorabilia. The quote section is added to, and they're working on a "their story" page. There's also games, and a monthly calendar to download. Check it out! :P
