Wow... so sad to hear this news. She was an incredible actress and will be greatly missed.

Was she sick? I mean 71 is not that old.

I read an article that listed gastric cancer as the cause of death. I had no idea she had been sick, either.

Yeah, that's what I read stomach cancer. My grandpa died of that at 62. Cancer is a nasty piece of work.

I see, not a nice way to 'go'. I myself hope to prevent it by using every day or two a 100 mg tab of of b-17, also known as laetrile (after reading a few books on the subject first). But it's a somewhat difficult subject. I once asked my GP about it, just to be sure, and I was surprised he knew about it and was not against it, but that not everyobody benefited from it. This year I both lost an aunt and an uncle to the disease.

I was so sad when found out our dear Jackie has died.. :(
She was such a great actress,... I will always remember her and her Aunt Hatty from RTA..
