Re: Username

I love how your name says "The Chef cured Peter Craig". The truth comes out! Peg Bowen went to the White Sands for that cure!

Re: not Widescreen...help

I know that when I play the extra features, I have to change the aspect for those to get them to play in widescreen. You might want to check the settings on your DVD player AND your TV. I know that both my DVD player and my TV have settings for aspect ratio. My DVD player is set for widescreen all t...

Re: Your Favorite RTA Opening Credits

Overall, I liked the Season 3 Opening the most. Though it's partially because it's the one I remember from my childhood most, I think it's put together the best! All of the cuts go well with the music (Felicity falling in the horse trough, Hetty and Romney dancing, Gus playing the fiddle). But for t...

Re: 6.3: Christmas in June

RTA Cecily takes on some of Sara's book characteristics, mostly the clumsiness and inability to cook. That's true... if you recall from the first couple of seasons, Cecily actually could cook and bake, or at least that impression was given. There is a scene where Cecily and Felicity are walking alo...

Re: Who appeard in the most episodes?

When I went to that IMDB page, I clicked on each actor and scrolled down to their RTA credits. You'll see that they note which episodes they were credited for, but not in.

Re: Who appeard in the most episodes?

From my count, it looks to me that Zachary Bennett was in the most. I went to IMDB and took their number and subtracted the episodes that stated "credit only." My count puts Zachary Bennett in 81 of the 91 episodes. But of course, I may be wrong, I haven't done a count episode by episode of appearan...

Re: Misplaced Episodes

Another one I think should be rearranged is Home Movie and Hearth and Home. I think Home Movie should have been the season finale of S4. I would also like for Friends and Relations to have ended S3 instead of Old Friends, Old Wounds. But those are just because they felt like season finales more, no...

Re: Misplaced Episodes

Another episode in Season 5 I thought was misplaced was "Fathers and Sons". I really didn't think that this was a suitable season opener. "Memento Mori" would have been a much better opening episode for season 5. I would maybe swap the two episodes. I feel this way primarily because Sara is not in "...

Re: Favorite character?

My favorite character is definitely Hetty King !!! I just loved her .. and I like how her character changed through seasons ( or we just didn't know her well at the begining ) Hetty definitely did change through the seasons. The biggest change was her views on the arts. She original thought that ac...

Re: Misplaced Episodes

I would have compressed the storyline for "Enter Prince Charming" and "The Minister's Wife" into one episode, and then have Sara in "Otherwise Engaged" as the Season 5 finale. I thought about this too, but I just couldn't see how to adequately develop Sara and Booth's relationship AND Janet and Vio...

Re: Favorite character?

I kind of like Clive Pettibone too! With his military background, and no nonsense attitude, he's completely different that anyone else in Avonlea (with the exception of maybe Hetty who also has a no nonsense attitude). He doesn't follow the game that so many others in Avonlea play. In fact, in most ...

Re: Misplaced Episodes

I wouldn't have liked to seen Sara taken out of "A Friend in Need" either. My vote would have been to see Sara in more episodes in season 5. But, of the episodes that she's in, "A Friend in Need" just seemed to be the easiest to take her out of. I do agree that Felix was still unmotivated in school ...

Re: 6.3: Christmas in June

Even Cecily getting sick in the first place was rarely mentioned by her family members, made worse by the weird placement of "Enter Prince Charming"/"The Minister's Wife" at the end of S5, and the jovial atmosphere of "Lonely Hearts" with little reference to what was happening with Cecily. I notice...
