Re: Gus' fate...

I'm glad someone agrees with me. Felicity NEVER grew on me. And Gus was too perfect. Too good for her. It seemed like they wanted to do the Sara triangle before they discovered fans loved Gus/Felicity and left it alone.

Re: Why is Davey so Hated?

I think Dora has a great personality. She actually has a little pluck! She's just pushed into the wings by Davey's outrageous behavior. He makes her look one dimensional. Dora did play by the rules but she had her own flavor aside from that. And so beautiful! She had "older" friends like Izzy. Wish ...

Re: Stuart McRae

Yeah, I don't really understand the bill paying complaint. Gus was one of the hardest workers around. Maybe the hardest because he came from absoutely nothing and kept improving himself as opposed to hard workers like Alec who have never really been homeless. He pursued making an honest living when ...

Re: Stuart McRae

Stuart just plain creeped me out. I hate when writers do little ratings boosters by pulling a character out of nowhere to inexplicably fall in love with one of the main characters at first sight. Notice they have no personal lives or interests outside of their love for the person they just met. Stua...

I wish you'd added the Pettibone's since they were introduced in episode two. . .

Re: Why is Davey so Hated?

I would have loved to see more Dora or Becky stories. Daniel was still just the family accessory as so many TV kids are. . .

Re: Misplaced Episodes

Heather Brown (Izzy) has an adorable baby boy about a year old or so and she's engaged to his father. She's really into motherhood. All she posts are pictures of him. It's sweet. I have ALWAYS had beef with the placement of the episodes "Comings and Goings" and "Lonely Hearts." Largely because of th...

Re: Asexual RTA

Heck, yes. Oh, gosh, Alec and Janet were always insinuating things! It was sweet. You're right about how tame the boys talk was in "Love May Be Blind." On another note, am I the only one that thought it was weird in "Total Eclipse" when Felix came home to find Cecily and Eliza still there (Cecily an...

Re: Asexual RTA

Hmmm. . . I don't understand why your being so defensive, Jan. You seemed to jump into a bit of a conniption when I expressed my observation on RtA being a bit too squeaky clean. Porn? Really? Road to Penetration? That's a bit of an exaggeration. I've already said that I am glad, overall, that there...

Re: Asexual RTA

I would be more than a little surprised if anyone showed interest in Alec and Janet's sex life. But whatever floats peoples boat. I am very interested in Fizzy's sex life. Felix is very desirable to me and I love their romance. I think for anyone who is a diehard shipper of a fictional couple it's t...

Re: Asexual RTA

I certainly don't believe people loved one another any more or less in ANY time period. There are noticeable differences on how society was taught to view and treat women in the Edwardian Era, I will say. Even in the 60's you will notice a difference in how men treat all women. While there may have ...

Re: Asexual RTA

You're right. Avonlea was very asexual. There are two reasons. 1) The period. Now, the Edwardian era was a time of restraint. This influenced Avonlea but did not necessarily dictate it. Avonlea is not an accurate depiction of early 20th Century Canada. Before you bash me, in many ways it is . Hear m...

Re: Who would you be?

I could see her having some sort of fling during their separated "war years." I think she has more exploring to do when it comes to her feminine identity. After season 6 she never wore trousers again. I wish she'd kept her balance of dresses and trousers. I think she looked her cutest in the latter ...

That she was a lesbian? Naah. She was just a 3D character who was raised by a man with brothers and wasn't prissy like some of the others. Evidence of her being straight seemed clear enough. To me at least.
