Roger King

I won the Avonlea spelling bee with a little help from Peg Bowen.

What if... Instead of Gus being found blind in 'Return to Me?,' he was cross-eyed? Would you take him seriously? What if... The King family observe that Digger's hair is getting too mangy and decide to cut it. Half-way through, they realize that it's not really Digger that's getting a haircut but.....

I just thought of another one. What if Sarah Polley hadn't wanted to leave the show? It seems like they could've done so much more with Sara and didn't because of Polley wanting out. I think Sara would have become the writer, rather than Hetty. That would've made much more sense too! I still think s...

I guess I was taking the "what if MM hadn't moved to LA" idea into account with my what ifs. I do agree with you, Shelly, that it would've gotten tedious if Gus and Felicity were "settled" and everything was just running along smoothly with them. They could've used that time to divulge more about Gu...

I liked Felicity better from the beginning. I'm not exactly sure why. Maybe it was because she was always so bossy and sure of herself and I wasn't like that at all as a kid. I was actually probably more like Sara. Then Gus came into the picture and I was REALLY sold! As I watch the show years later...

What If?

I thought it might be interesting if we, in our heads, changed one aspect of the show that we disliked or liked and pondered how it might change the overall course of things. For me, it would be, "what if Gus had played a larger part in seasons 6 and 7 (i.e. Michael Mahonen appeared in more episodes...

Word to Timothy- Maybe you should edit your topic statements more carefully.
Yeah, I agree...that scared me a bit when I first read it!

I saw the Booth episodes a few weeks ago for the first time in ages and I still really like him. Sure, he was a little offbeat and goofy, but I thought his relationship with Sara was sweet.

That's right, Tim. Part of the fun of message boards is that you can express your opinion. Believe it or not, I actually enjoy it when others disagree with me because it's interesting to try to see where they're coming from, even if I don't agree or probably won't ever agree. And we do have the righ...

Sure, we're all guilty of double standards at some point. I know I'm certainly not exempt from this. Sarah is, indeed, perfectly entitled to her own opinion that RTA is "horrible," though I'm sure none of us would agree with her. I certainly don't, and I don't understand why she would say something ...

*waves* Thanks, Timothy! How nice of you to say. Yeah, I float in and out.

And I agree with you, Katie, that Felicity had grown up a lot by the end of the series. Maybe her relationship with Stuart helped with that, as well as having to cope with Gus's "death."

I'm another of those who had no idea how old Michael was until later on. He looked the age he was playing on the show, I thought. And I'm not really bothered by Stuart and Felicity's age difference. My dislike for Stuart has nothing to do with that. My biggest problem with Stuart is that he's not Gu...

That's true, Tim. I guess my general dislike for Stuart colors my opinions slightly...that and my being a bit of a hopeless romantic!
