Anne of Green Gables: The Sequel DVD

I have the triology on video, but before this past week I only had the first miniseries on DVD. Well, I have the second now and I love it! I hadn't seen it in years and I'd forgotten how good it is! I do have a question though. I bought the Region 2 version from Amazon.co.uk and it's a two-sided dis...

I did not like Roger at all. He didn't fit in with the rest of the King family, and I thought it was so awful how he and Hetty ganged up on Alec the way they did. Alec is a model father figure, while his brother is...well...NOT!

Harmony hands down. She was so cute, and I don't care if she may have had limited acting ability...Molly never should've arrived on the scene. I never accepted her as Cecily. It was way too late in the game to make such a drastic switch!

It seems to me that, for whatever reason, she's got a lot of anger there, which makes me think there's something we don't know. I mean, even if the show wasn't really her cup of tea, there's not need to be so rude about it. It's as if she is resentful of it in some way. I mean, her own father was on...

Eesh! What a "horrible" thing for her to say! I had read before that she'd said something like that it was not the kind of show she would watch, but for her to say that it's "horrible" is just insulting. I have to wonder if she has any sort of relationships with her cast members on the show. What wo...

To an extent, yes. I mean, I can understand Michael Mahonen wanting more money, etc...but his absence (along with Polley's and Zamprogna's) did hurt the series a lot, I think. I mean, Sara Stanley was the most significant character early on and she had some great stories, but Polley's desire to leav...

I remember reading something about this quite awhile ago. As far as I know, Michael came up with the accent himself. He wanted it to be kind of a maritime, sea sort of accent. To me it sounds a tiny bit Northern Irish at times, but mostly Canadian sea-faring, if that makes any sense. People that set...

Yep! Although I'm not a huge Arthur fan, I think Felicity behaved the worst of the three of them in that episode. She enjoyed both of their attention focused on her a bit too much. I agree that this episode was kind of confusing after seeing "The Dinner." I don't think Felicity's feelings for Gus ar...

Although Arthur's a nice guy, I definitely don't think he and Felicity would have been well suited to each other. I mean, she wanted to get married and have a family and children. She wanted to do things the "traditional" way, whereas Arthur is vehemently against traditional notions. And I think I h...

4.10 Felicity's Perfect Beau

I remember being incredibly frustrated when I first saw this episode when it aired on Disney Channel, and even now as I watch it on DVD I feel the same way. The ending is way too ambiguous for my liking. I like your assessment, Timothy, that it looks like Arthur's going to go off on somebody at the ...

I LOVE it! This is one of my favorite episodes. I was hooked on Gus and Felicity from the moment I saw this. I always thought David Hawes was rather dashing too. I remember seeing him in "Looking for Miracles" with Zachary Bennett AGES ago on the Disney Channel and I'd liked him in that as well. Any...

Personally, I think there was always a bit of a "wild child" in Hetty just waiting to get out. When people so staunchly oppose something, it's usually because they are envious of people who do it or wish they could do it themselves. And we know that Hetty wasn't always the stickler for rules that we...

Wow! Veeeeeery interesting! I already have seasons 1-4 from Sully so I probably wouldnt' buy this anyway, but I sincerely hope they don't intend to butcher the episodes like that. If it said complete, it should be! Otherwise they should call it "The INcomplete first season"!

Aunt Eliza also mentioned that she thought Felicity took after Hetty in "Hearth and Home". Yep, I just watched that episode yesterday and she said they both have the same "pinched" look. I thought that was kind of funny. And as for Sara, I can see why people might think she had a crush on Gus, but ...

on her character development or usefulness in the series. I like the fiesty rebellious Sara from 'Journey Begins,' who defies Hetty at every turn. Me too! It seems like they could've done so much more with her character. She was kind of sidelined over the years and if she'd been around in seasons 6...
