Season 1 Being Released by Disney?!

I found this on Amazon.com a few days ago... http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000AXWGSG/qid=1125757947/sr=1-5/ref=sr_1_5/002-5778783-9132858?v=glance&s=dvd They're calling it "Tales from Avonlea" like they did with the videos. Why don't they just call it "Road to Avonlea" or "Avonlea" ...

I just got season 3 a few days ago and when I watched that my reaction was "Huh? Is that all?" I don't even see the point of them putting it on there. It's weird!

Well, speaking as a woman, if I was truly in love with a man and an old flame came back, I'd marry the guy I was planning to marry in the first place...which is why I think Felicity was fond of Stuart and loved him, but was not IN love with him. Oops, I didn't see your post, Shelly, before I posted....

Ah, see, that's where the problem lies then. It's like this...I love my friends (male and female), but I'm in love with my boyfriend. There's a difference between romantic love and platonic love. I'll concede that Felicity probably did love Stuart, but more like you'd love a good friend, whereas he ...

To say Felicity didn't love Stuart would make her out to be a golddigger by todays standards. I wouldn't go there. I rather say she loved Gus, but settled for Stuart. Avonlea being such a small town and the pickin's were slim. She could have had a second go round with Arthur Pettibone, but Stuart w...

Well, those were different times. Peple weren't as mobile as we are today. And Stuart was madly in love with Felicity. She didn't want to become a spinster...I don't think that makes Felicity a bad person. She had security and friendship with Stuart, which together made a good partnership. Tell me, ...

Wait, are you saying that you think Felicity really loved Stuart? I'm confused... Felicity and Stuart had a friendship, one that could morph into a good partnership, i.e. marriage. Maybe she loved Stuart as a friend, but that's it. As for what would have happened if the phone call had come after the...

Well, there's a difference between loving someone and being IN LOVE with them. Maybe Felicity loved Stuart...I have my doubts there. She may have cared for him as a friend, but that's it. I mean, the minute she found Gus she knew what she had to do. There was no dilemma concerning who she would choo...

Yeah, that's true. He shouldn't have done that. But even so, I can't see him as a bad guy. Even when he wasn't necessarily acting in Sara's best interests, I always thought he meant well, if that makes any sense.

Well, for me I don't think it was the age difference. I think if two people are really in love it doesn't matter what age they are. But see, that's the thing. Felicity was never in love with Stuart. Even when she thought Gus was dead, she went on loving him. There was just no chemistry between Felic...

I always liked Blair. Sure, he could've made more time for Sara, but I think part of his problem was that he was grieving the loss of his wife. When people are suffering like that, they tend to bury themselves in their work. And Blair did say that Sara looks so much like Ruth, so maybe it was all ju...

Does anybody know where there are pictures of Dora #1 vs Dora #2? I never knew it was a different person until recently, which I guess is pretty common.

Eek! I don't like Stuart. Never have, never will. I think he was a bit of a push-over. There's nice and then there's just...yuck! Worst character ever in RTA (the best being Gus, of course! )

Hmmm...It's been ages since I've seen the Booth episodes, but when they originally aired I remember thinking he was really sweet and was glad Sara had a bit of romance. Ah well. Anyway, as far as annoying goes...Davy Keith, Arthur Pettibone, and Stuart McRae. Yep, there's only one man for Felicity! ...
