Actually, no!

I had been up all night studying and he called rather early in the morning. He also introduced himself as Robert Thompson, which didn't quite register at first

I'm sure I sounded like an idiot

Good point. I don't find Pollyanna and AOGG at all similar. I don't know about Sunnybrook.

I always found the crying scene in "When She Was Bad", in which Hetty says something to the effect of "Thank God your mother is dead, so she didn't see the way you turned out!" quite disturbing. I think this may have been the scene that Sarah refers to in the interview. Just a few weeks after her mo...

Back when I was on the inaugural AvCon Commitee, I got a letter from Jackie Burroughs (Hetty King) and a phone call from R.H. Thompson (Jasper Dale) regarding the invitations I sent them for the event. Since I wound up having to work and couldn't make it to AvCon, one of the committee members got my...

Ok, so off topic, but have you ordered anything from Amazon.ca? How does that work for us Yanks? Do they charge extra to convert the currency and how is the shipping? (I've always wondered...)

Acting is a job, and I feel, as such one is entitled to sufficiant pay, after all, I've never been on a shoot that didn't involve at least 12 hour days (sometimes more than 15)... not to mention all the "homework" of memorizing lines and creating a character. It is also a temping job, which is to sa...

Thanks AvonLea. Did it load okay? I have plans for a Phase two. It will include interacting with the villagers and being involved in a story line, where you would be able to change the outcome of events in avonlea. Similiar to an rpg. This was explored a bit with the first Virtual Avonlea where you...

Haven't seen it. Do you basically think it is worth checking out? And what time period is it? Its set in 1904, I believe. And yes, aside from the aforementioned quibbles I would recommend it. It is interesting to note that almost every episode of Pit Pony deals with social issues, while one of the ...

Pit Pony

Has anyone here seen the TV series Pit Pony ? I ordered it from Netflix after seeing that it was written and produced by RTA writer Heather Conkie. The acting and editing can be enough to make you cringe, on occasion, but it grows on you. Its kind of nice when you're in the mood for something RTAish...
