Felix was also a great character to what develop. I especially loved his idea for "Felix's Tea House". I really enjoyed watching Izzy and Felix's romance develop, and I was sad when the series ended without much chance to see anything more of their story. Yes, I was always a bit sad that the tearoo...

Welcome OldBat! We're glad to have ya aboard. 'But When She Was Bad...' was one of my favorite Avonlea episodes. Jo Pitts in fact, is in one of our latest polls for her song in those episodes. I really enjoyed those episodes, but I've heard from many people that they were some of their least favori...

I love AOGG but RTA is so much longer and about so many more characters, you feel more a part of it and so enjoy it more. So as much as I adore AOGG I think I prefer RTA. Yes, I think you've hit the nail on the head there... at least, for me, anyway! That is extremely difficult! I really love both,...

Ah! This last one is the only one that stumped me on the name. I believe it is the guy who pressed Sara Stanley into pickpocketing in Jo Pitts's place? Hope I'm not cheating by adding a new quote, since I didn't give the actual name. I'm dying to hear the name now, though! Buck Hogan Here's one of ...

Other LMM sources for RTA

As we all know, the series is officially based on: Chronicles of Avonlea Further Chronicles of Avonlea The Story Girl The Golden Road But what about other Lucy Maud Montgomery works which served as inspiration for the series? One of the most obvious is: 2.4 Of Corsets, Secrets and true True Love - M...

I have been known to play the ponies  I even placed my money on Galloping Consumption... with a name like that, I should have known it would be a dead loss.

Hmmm...I seem to remember Grafton being mentioned at some point, but it might have been in the Anne films... I do, too! Maybe it was during the sewing circle in The Materializing of Duncan McTavish . A lot of that is verbatim from other works, like Anne of Avonlea . I maybe thinking of another goss...

I was given Josiah King's journals when I won the history prize at school and was shocked to discover that he had cut off a Dutchman's nose. I dug up my yard looking for the "Falcon Treasure", but only wound up with a broken rake for my trouble.

That doesn't account for his greed, though. I mean, Gus could have used some of that gold! But when Gus offers to help, Captain Crane asks him what he would do with his share of the riches, and he answers that he would use it to get a place he wouldn't be thrown out of. Having the lighthouse, I don...

If anything, Gus deserves a greater reward because he stuck his neck out on the line for Crane. Borden was a dangerous individual and Ezekiel Crane used Gus as a decoy so he could get the treasure in 'All That Glitters.' This suggests that Ezekiel cared more about the treasure than his own son's we...
