Aunty Jane or Annie Jane?

Post by Lady Jeanne » Tue May 08, 2007 11:26 am

I notice that the ship whose crew Gus joined is listed as the "Aunty Jane" in the Avonleapedia. I always understood it as the "Annie Jane". What do YOU think?

You could be right, Lady Jeanne. Someone has mentioned the exact same thing to me before. It's sometimes hard for me to understand those accents. I wish there was a book published for that episode, as we don't have a frame of reference for that episode.

Try turning on the closed captioning on your TV set. I know it works with the VHS tapes, anyway...

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it was the Annie Jane. That Matt O'Donnell had a great accent and was pretty cute. Even if he did get Felix drunk
