I don't have a problem mixing quotes from the book with pictures from the show. I use to do that a lot in my own RTA wallpapers. I don't care for the citation, "Sara Stanley, Road to Avonlea." If they are going to quote the book, then credit the book. I would love to have another photo book in the same format as the Avonlea Album. The pictures in that book are gorgeous and the quotes from the Story Girl and the Golden Road are matched appropriately. Why go to the trouble of creating photoshopped images when the originals are far superior? And the Christmas poster? Is looking at an elf painting a puppet supposed to remind me of RTA? Designing desktop wallpapers is one thing... it's an entirely different matter when choosing images to be put on collectors plates and posters. There are several posters with books quotes that are never said on the series...

I cannot for the life of me ever imagine Felicity wearing that hat...hannikan wrote: (And when was this kiss?! It looks like they reversed the negative for their wedding kiss and then photoshopped Felicity's hat in)
And shouldn't the quote on that green poster say, "The sharp blue sky shone", not "The sharp blur sky shone"? How can something be sharp and blurry at the same time??

Yeah I agree they should have properly cited the book. They did for the Anne posters, those one that had quotes from the Anne books that weren't said in the movies they cited the book. Yeah the hats are strange for either Sara or Felicity because they never wore them. I noticed that typo, too. I would much rather have seen real photos than photoshopped ones.

It was a diamond winter day in February--clear, cold, hard, brilliant. The sharp blue sky shone, the white fields and hills glittered, the fringe of icicles around the eaves of Uncle Alec's house sparkled.

It's been a while since we visited this subject, but Anne Inc. is still thriving!
I don't quite get this one. A cracked slate face scrub? Anne hit Gilbert over the head with a slate. She didn't run a washboard over his face! This is a stretch.

And then there is Gilbert's cologne. I've seen Anne of Green Gables, but I don't recall Gilbert's scent?Cracked Slate Face Scrub - $25.00 USD

I don't think it's there anymore, but I believe they used to have Marilla's perfume? Did Marilla use anything beside soap and water? It must not have been a big seller.Gilbert Blythe Avonlea Cologne - $65.00 USD
