Island Hymn named P.E.I.'s official anthem

Islanders will soon be singing about the land they love the best when they sing the Island’s new anthem.
Premier Robert Ghiz introduced the Provincial Anthem Act in the legislature Thursday, officially naming the Island Hymn as P.E.I.’s official anthem.
Many Islanders already consider this well-known song to be P.E.I.’s official song. The words of the hymn were penned by the Island’s beloved author Lucy Maud Montgomery and it became immediately popular after it was first performed in 1908.
It is often sung at ceremonies and events on P.E.I. ...The patriotic song of Prince Edward Island was written by Lucy Maud Montgomery in the spring of 1908.
The Island Hymn:
Words by Lucy Maud Montgomery
Fair Island of the sea,
We raise our song to thee,
The bright and blest;
Loyally now we stand
As brothers, hand in hand,
And sing God save the land
We love the best.
Upon our princely Isle
May kindest fortune smile
In coming years;
Peace and prosperity
In all her borders be,
From every evil free,
And weakling fears.
Prince Edward Isle, to thee
Our hearts shall faithful be
Where’er we dwell;
Forever may we stand
As brothers, hand in hand,
And sing God save the land
We love so well.

Nice! I have picture of it from LMM's birth house. I wonder if there are recordings of people singing it on You Tube. I wonder what it sounds like.

This is the closest I found. I guess it is set to God Save the King/Queen
