The Ship liner company that owned the Maid of Calais. The company was located at 113 Wall Street, New York, New York and operated out of Boston, New York and Charleston.

Jasperon

First mention: 5.10: Best Laid plans
A sturdy material created by Jasper in his workshop, which could be formed into various items such as dinnerware. Olivia encouraged Jasper's cousin Jeremiah to help him patent and mass produce the product, but Jeremiah had other plans (see Jeremian).

Abner Jefferies

First appearance: 1.1: The Journey Begins
As Constable and town blacksmith, Abner Jeffries approached his duties in an often bumbling yet honest manner. The self proclaimed lawman often talked about "strange goin-ons" that occurred frequently in Avonlea.

Jeremian

First mention: 5.10: Best Laid plans
A sturdy material created by Jasper in his workshop, which could be formed into various items such as dinner where. Jasper's cousin, Jeremiah Dale, stole the formula and attempted to patent it as his own, changing the name from 'Jasperon' to 'Jeremian'. It was discovered however, that the material had already been patented as 'plastic.'

Jimmy (last name unknown)

First appearance: 7.11: Return to Me
A sea fairing lad since he was 12, Jimmy was one of the seven people to survive the Maid of Calais wreck. Jimmy informed Felicity about how Gus heroically attempted to send signals before the ship went down. Felicity became suspicious when she later saw Jimmy speaking to Odelia, a nurses aid who appeared to be concealing information about Gus Pike.

Dr. Jones

First appearance: 5.9: Thursdays Child
Doctor Jones resided in Summerside and advised Felicity and Janet on Cecily's tuberculosis. She suggested that Cecily be sent to a sanitarium.
